Nail Care (both hands) 50min
 

 

▣ Contest Rules
 

Competitors will have 50miniutes to complete a manicure on 2 hands.

All products are permitted with exception of Chamois buffers and buffing cream.

No enhancement products may be present at the competitor’s workstation.

The natural nails of two hands must be polished with red cream polish and the shape must be square prior Entering the competition for pre-judging.

Once the competition commences the competitor may then remove the polish.

After the competition commences, the competitor must change the shape from square to round, square round, oval, etc. this is the competitor’s choice.

Basecoat, ridge filler and topcoat are permitted.

Glitter, shimmers or pearl polish are NOT permitted

The coloring of both hands shall be using red polish.

Nails must have at least 2 coats of polish.

Product control.
Cuticle Work.
Clean under nails.
Length.
Shape.
Coloring (Both hands – red coloring shall be full coat)
Overall impression

Finished Work.

 

 

 

 

 




White Tip Overlay (one hand) 75min
 




▣ Contest Rules
 

Time permitted: 75 Minutes to finish 1hand of White Tip and Overlay.

The model`s natural nails may be prepared for product application before the competition commencement. Product may NOT be applied until the competition has commenced.

5 Fingers must be buffed to a high shine.

5 Fingers must be White Tips on.

No consideration will be given for any pre-existing damage to the model`s nails, cuticles or hands.

Competitors may be use Acrylic Systems, Gel Systems. NO combination of these products is permitted.

Sheer pink, clear, natural Acrylic/Gel products may be used .No color Acrylic or Glitters of any Kind are permitted.

Oil, acetone, under file, c curve stick, tweezers, buffing products may be used.

No consideration will be given for any pre-existing damage to the model’s nails, cuticles or hands.

For artificial nail enhancement competitions, the nail should be finished to the expected competition style nails, which are sleek, beautiful and clean.
The competition nail should be finished with the following considerations.
* Nail shape must be suitable and complimentary to the models hands.
* The length should be longer the 1/2 and less than 1 of the nail bed.
* The nail bed is measured from the cuticle to centre of the smile line.
* Length is measured from centre of the smile to the free edge.
* C-curves should be consistent from nail to nail and should be 30%-40%of the circle.
* Free edge should even, consistent and no thicker than the thickness of the business card.

Natural Tip overlay (one hand) 75min

Time permitted: 75 Minutes to finish 1hand of Tip and Overlay.
